The National Weather Service in El Paso has issued a

* Dust Advisory for…
Southwestern Otero County in south central New Mexico…
Southeastern Dona Ana County in south central New Mexico…
Northwestern El Paso County in western Texas…

* Until 745 PM MDT.

* At 638 PM MDT, a wall of dust was pushing into Santa Teresa from
the west, reducing visibility to about a half mile. The dust will
push across El Paso over the next hour.

HAZARD…Less than one half mile visibility with strong wind in
excess of 50 mph.

SOURCE…Doppler radar.

IMPACT…Hazardous travel.

Locations impacted include…
El Paso, Santa Teresa, Canutillo, Chaparral, Anthony, Sunland Park,
Berino, Westway, Fort Bliss, Vinton, Chamberino, La Union, and Biggs
Field.
