Warning for the following rivers in Iowa…

Upper Iowa River at Bluffton affecting Winneshiek County.

Upper Iowa River at Dorchester Hwy 76 affecting Allamakee County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Upper Iowa River at Dorchester Hwy 76.

* WHEN…From Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 15.0 feet, Significant agricultural flooding begins.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 2:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 8.3 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage early
tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 15.5 feet early Saturday
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early Sunday
morning.
– Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
