…The National Weather Service in Quad Cities IA IL has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Iowa…

Iowa River at Marengo affecting Benton and Iowa Counties.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Iowa River at Marengo.

* WHEN…From Friday afternoon to late Monday evening.

* IMPACTS…At 16.0 feet, Water affects agricultural land along the
river. Water is several feet deep in places.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 12.7 feet and rising.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
Friday afternoon to a crest of 15.7 feet Saturday evening. It
will then fall below flood stage early Monday afternoon.
– Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

Instructions

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
