…The National Weather Service in Houston/Galveston TX has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Texas…

San Bernard River near Sweeny affecting Brazoria County.

For the San Bernard River…including Sweeny, Boling…Minor
flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…San Bernard River near Sweeny.

* WHEN…From this afternoon to Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 7.5 feet, Lazy G RV Boat Ramp takes on water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:45 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 5.4 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 5.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this afternoon to a crest of 7.8 feet tomorrow morning.
It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening.
– Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
7.4 feet on 12/14/2018.

Instructions

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
