Warning for the following rivers in South Dakota…

Mud Creek near Rauville affecting Codington County.

.For sites with a river forecast, the forecast includes precipitation
through the next 24 hours. Any future precipitation could affect the
forecasts.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring.

* WHERE…Mud Creek near Rauville.

* WHEN…From this evening until further notice.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 9.0 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 9:00 PM CDT Wednesday was 9.0 feet.
– Flood stage is 9.0 feet.

Instructions

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
