Warning for the following rivers in Wisconsin…

Kickapoo River at Gays Mills affecting Crawford County.

Kickapoo River at Steuben affecting Crawford County.

Kickapoo River at Readstown affecting Vernon County.

The next statement will be issued late tonight by 1245 AM CDT.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Kickapoo River at Steuben.

* WHEN…From late tonight to late Wednesday night.

* IMPACTS…At 12.5 feet, Water reaches the bottom support beams of
the bridge.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 8.9 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river will rise above flood stage late tonight to
12.3 feet early Monday morning. It will then oscillate around
flood stage through Wednesday morning before falling below flood
stage Wednesday afternoon.
– Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of 12.3
feet on 07/02/1998.
