* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…Fayette County in northeastern Iowa…

* WHEN…Until noon CDT.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads
remain closed due to flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 814 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported heavy rain in the
warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring.
Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the
warned area.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
West Union, Fayette, Elgin, Clermont, Maynard, Hawkeye,
Arlington, Waucoma, Wadena, Westgate, St. Lucas, Randalia,
Donnan, Douglas, Albany, Volga River State Park, Highway 93 And
County W 14, County Roads W 42 And B 40, Eldorado and Brainard.
