…The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a Flood Warning
for the following river in Kansas…

Mill Creek at Washington affecting Washington County.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Mill Creek at Washington.

* WHEN…From this evening to Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 18.0 feet, Low lands along the creek flood from
Morrowville to Washington flood. At 19.0 feet, Osage Road, located
2 miles west and 1 mile north of Washington, floods.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:45 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 8.4 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage this
evening to a crest of 22.7 feet tomorrow morning. It will then
fall below flood stage early Friday morning.
– Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

Instructions

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
