* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE…Portions of north central Kansas, including the following
counties, Jewell, Mitchell, Osborne, Phillips, Rooks and Smith and
Nebraska, including the following counties, Adams, Buffalo, Clay,
Dawson, Fillmore, Franklin, Furnas, Gosper, Hall, Hamilton, Harlan,
Kearney, Merrick, Nuckolls, Phelps, Polk, Thayer, Webster and York.

* WHEN…Through Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– Showers and thunderstorms are expected to increase in coverage
and intensity through the evening hours. Cumulative rainfall
totals of mainly 2-4 inches are expected with higher localized
amounts of 4-7 inches possible. Some uncertainty still exists
with northern extent of the heavy rain, but latest model trends
suggest the greatest risk for the high end rain amounts will be
southeast of a line from Holdrege to Doniphan to Osceola.
Although some areas will not experience flooding, scattered
instances of flooding and even considerable flash flooding are
possible due to training thunderstorms, especially across areas
still saturated from heavy rainfall last week.
