…The National Weather Service in Springfield MO has issued a Flood
Watch for the following rivers in Kansas…Missouri…

Little Osage River at Fulton affecting Bourbon County.

Little Osage River near Horton affecting Vernon County.

Marmaton River near Nevada affecting Vernon County.

Marmaton River at Fort Scott affecting Bourbon County.

Osage River at Taberville affecting St. Clair zone.

For the Little Osage River…including Fulton, Horton…flooding is
possible.
For the Marmaton River…including Fort Scott, Nevada…flooding is
possible.
For the Osage River…including Taberville…flooding is possible.

* WHAT…Flooding is possible overnight into Friday morning.

* WHERE…Marmaton River near Nevada.

* WHEN…From this morning to early Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 28.0 feet, flood waters impact Highway 54, along
Route H and Route T west and north of Deerfield, or west of Nevada.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 7.7 feet.
– Forecast…Flood stage may be reached late tomorrow morning.
– Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
