* WHAT…For the Extreme Heat Warning, dangerously hot conditions
with temperatures up to 110. For the Heat Advisory tomorrow,
temperatures up to 109 degrees.

* WHERE…Palo Duro Canyon.

* WHEN…For the Extreme Heat Warning, until 10 PM CDT this evening.
For the Heat Advisory, from 10 PM this evening to 10 PM CDT
Tuesday.

* IMPACTS…Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat events.

Instructions

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.
