Details

* WHAT…Dangerously hot conditions with daily maximum heat index
values up to 105 expected. Overnight low temperatures will remain
in the middle to upper 70s.

* WHERE…Portions of central, east central, south central, and
southwest Missouri.

* WHEN…For the Heat Advisory, until 11 AM CDT Thursday. For the
Extreme Heat Warning, from 11 AM Thursday to 8 PM CDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events. Hot temperatures and high
humidity may cause heat illnesses.

Instructions

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
