Northeastern Aitkin County in east central Minnesota…
Southern St. Louis County in northeastern Minnesota…
Northwestern Carlton County in northeastern Minnesota…
Southwestern Lake County in northeastern Minnesota…

* Until 115 AM CDT.

* At 1223 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 10 miles west of Meadowlands to near Floodwood to 7
miles northwest of Fond Du Lac Band Brookston Area, moving
northeast at 60 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

CDT.
Brookston around 1235 AM CDT.
Canyon around 1240 AM CDT.

Cotton, Boulder Lake, Island Lake and Whiteface Reservoir.

Instructions

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for north central,
northeastern and east central Minnesota.

Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Although a
tornado is not immediately likely, if one is spotted, act quickly and
move to a place of safety inside a sturdy structure such as a
basement or small interior room.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
