* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Southwestern Franklin County in east central Kansas…
Northwestern Anderson County in east central Kansas…
Southeastern Osage County in east central Kansas…
Coffey County in east central Kansas…
Southern Lyon County in east central Kansas…

* Until 945 PM CDT.

* At 849 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 10 miles west of Olpe to 5 miles southwest of Neosho
Rapids to near Lyndon, moving southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Trained weather spotters. At 8:48 PM, 60-70 MPH winds
were reported in Osage City.

IMPACT…Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include…
Garnett, Burlington, Lyndon, Waverly, Olpe, Williamsburg, New
Strawn, Quenemo, Melvern, Hartford, Gridley, Westphalia, Beto
Junction, Harris, Pomona Lake, John Redmond Reservoir, and Le Roy.

This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 153 and 173.

building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for east central
