The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
South Central Audrain County in central Missouri…
Callaway County in central Missouri…

* Until 745 PM CDT.

* At 631 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
near Centralia to over Easley, or along a line from near Centralia
to 8 miles northwest of Ashland, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…At 620PM An Emergency Manager reported several trees down
across roads in Columbia.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Hatton, Thompson, Kingdom City, Fulton, Carrington, Mexico,
Guthrie, Auxvasse, Lake Mykee Town, Lake Mykee, New Bloomfield,
Vandiver, Benton City, Rush Hill, Shamrock, Williamsburg, Reform,
Mokane and Martinsburg.

This includes Interstate 70 in Missouri between exits 137 and 161.

Instructions

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms have produced damaging winds and are capable of
producing large hail.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
