* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Southern Bates County in west central Missouri…
* Until 745 PM CDT.
* At 705 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Hume, or 8
miles east of Pleasanton, moving southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include…
Butler, Rich Hill, Hume, Amoret, Rockville, Foster, and Worland.
This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 118 and 132.
Instructions
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside
should move immediately to shelter inside a strong building. Stay
away from windows.
To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service
office in Pleasant Hill.
