* Until 1130 PM CDT.

* At 1015 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
6 miles north of Veblen Flats Housing to 9 miles south of Summit,
or along a line from 7 miles north of Veblen to 14 miles northeast
of Florence, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.

around 1040 PM CDT.

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. These storms have produced widespread
damaging winds and are capable of producing large hail.
