The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Northeastern Burleigh County in south central North Dakota…
Kidder County in south central North Dakota…
Northwestern Stutsman County in southeastern North Dakota…

* Until 1000 PM CDT.

* At 855 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
12 miles north of Pettibone to 7 miles southeast of Regan, or along
a line from 19 miles southwest of Carrington to 23 miles northeast
of Bismarck, moving south at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Wing, Tuttle, Pettibone, Woodworth, Robinson, Lake Williams, Chase
Lake, Horsehead Lake and Arena.

Instructions

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing
dangerous hail and damaging winds.

Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
