* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Northwestern Cherry County in north central Nebraska…

* Until 745 PM CDT.

* At 658 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles south of
Merriman, or 27 miles east of Gordon, moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE…Public. At 549 PM MDT half dollar size hail and 60 mph
wind gusts were reported 3 miles south of Merriman.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Medicine Lake, Highway 61 Crossing The Niobrara River, Indian Hill,
Intersection of Highway 61 and Shadbolt Road, Schoolhouse Lake, and
Highway 61 crossing the Snake River.

This includes Highway 61 between mile markers 195 and 221.

Instructions

building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
