The National Weather Service in North Platte has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
West central Cherry County in north central Nebraska…

* Until 700 PM CDT.

* At 614 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 22 miles southwest
of Medicine Lake, or 23 miles southeast of Gordon, moving
southeast at 10 mph. A second severe thunderstorm was located 2
miles east of highway 61 at mile marker 197. this storm was also
moving southeast at 10 MPH.

HAZARD…Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Round Lake, Intersection of Highway 61 and Shadbolt Road, and
Highway 61 crossing the Snake River.

This includes Highway 61 between mile markers 184 and 209.
