South Central Pennington County in west central South Dakota…

* Until 845 PM MDT.

* At 805 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Hart Ranch,
or near Rapid City, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Trained spotters reported.

IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Rapid City, southwestern Rapid Valley, Caputa, Farmingdale, Black
Gap, Rapid City Airport, Thompson Butte, Hart Ranch, Reptile
Gardens and Bear Country.

This includes Interstate 90 in South Dakota between Mile Markers 56
and 57.
