The National Weather Service in Hastings has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Western Dawson County in south central Nebraska…

* Until 900 PM CDT.

* At 822 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Arnold to 12 miles north of Brady to near Lake
Maloney State Recreation Area, moving south at 45 mph.

THESE ARE DESTRUCTIVE STORMS FOR WESTERN DAWSON COUNTY INCLUDING
THE GOTHENBURG AREA.

HAZARD…80 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect
considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.

Gothenburg around 845 PM CDT.
Willow Island around 855 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include
Farnam.

This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 209 and 228.
