The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Western Dickey County in southeastern North Dakota…

* Until 1145 PM CDT.

* At 1041 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles south of
Kulm, or 25 miles northwest of Ellendale, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts and ping pong ball size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include…
Ellendale, Fullerton, Forbes, Merricourt City, Monango and
Merricourt.

Instructions

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
widespread damaging winds and large hail.
