The National Weather Service in Goodland has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Southeastern Logan County in west central Kansas…
Southwestern Gove County in west central Kansas…

* Until 1100 PM CDT.

* At 1003 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles southeast
of Russell Springs, or 15 miles northwest of Scott State Lake,
moving southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southeastern Logan and southwestern Gove Counties, including the
following locations… The Monument Rocks.

building.

This thunderstorm is producing accumulating hail, which will make
driving hazardous, similar to snow or ice. If you must travel, be
aware of rapidly changing road conditions.
