Northwestern Mellette County in south central South Dakota…
Eastern Jackson County in southwestern South Dakota…
Haakon County in west central South Dakota…
East Central Meade County in west central South Dakota…
Southern Ziebach County in west central South Dakota…

* Until 1000 PM MDT /1100 PM CDT/.

* At 901 PM MDT /1001 PM CDT/, severe thunderstorms were located
along a line from 5 miles northeast of Red Scaffold to 8 miles
northeast of Long Valley, or along a line from 18 miles southwest
of Dupree to 20 miles south of Kadoka, moving east at 25 MPH.

HAZARD…60 MPH wind gusts.

SOURCE…Automated observations. This line of thunderstorms has a
history of producing multiple measured wind gusts of 55 to
65 MPH.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Philip, Kadoka, Cherry Creek, Milesville, Midland, Belvidere, Cedar
Butte, Ottumwa, Billsburg, Kirley, Bridger, George Town, Corn
Creek, Red Scaffold, Nowlin, Intersection of Highway 73 and White
River, Takini, Intersection of Highway 63 and BIA Road 8 and
southwestern Cheyenne River Reservation.

This includes Interstate 90 in South Dakota between Mile Markers 143
and 174.

Instructions

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms have produced damaging winds.
