Eastern Harding County in northwestern South Dakota…
West Central Perkins County in northwestern South Dakota…

* Until 715 PM MDT.

* At 611 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles southeast
of Ludlow, or 17 miles northeast of Buffalo, moving southeast at 35
mph.

HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include…
Reva, Ralph, Sorum, Prairie City, Slim Buttes and Sheep Buttes.

Instructions

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
widespread damaging winds and large hail.
