* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Western Harding County in northwestern South Dakota…

* Until 600 PM MDT.

* At 511 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles north of
Lake Gardner, or 8 miles northwest of Buffalo, moving northeast at
25 mph.

HAZARD…Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Buffalo, Harding, Ludlow, Camp Crook, Ladner, Lake Gardner, South
Cave Hills, Table Mountain, North Cave Hills, East Short Pines and
West Short Pines.

Instructions

Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM MDT Saturday for a
portion of northwest South Dakota.
