The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Southeastern McPherson County in central Kansas…
Northeastern Harvey County in south central Kansas…
Southwestern Marion County in central Kansas…

* Until 145 PM CDT.

* At 109 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Goessel, or
near Hesston, moving east at 40 mph. This warning replaces the
previous Severe Thunderstorm Warning for southeastern McPherson
and southwestern Marion Counties.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Trained weather spotters. At 103 PM, quarter size hail
was reported 1 mile north of Moundridge.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Hesston, Moundridge, Peabody, Goessel, and Walton.

This includes Interstate 135 between Mile Markers 39 and 48.
