Southern McPherson County in central Kansas…
Northeastern Reno County in south central Kansas…
Northern Harvey County in south central Kansas…

* Until 915 AM CDT.

* At 828 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Hutchinson,
moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Mesonet. At 822 AM, 67 mph winds were reported in
Hutchinson.

IMPACT…Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include…
Hutchinson, Newton, Hesston, North Newton, Moundridge, Inman,
Buhler, Burrton, Galva, Newton Airport, and Hutchinson Airport.

This includes Interstate 135 between Mile Markers 31 and 59.
