* Until 845 PM CDT.

* At 738 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Talleyrand,
or 11 miles east of Sigourney, moving southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD…Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include…
Washington, Wayland, Brighton, Richland, Lockridge, Olds, Pleasant
Plain, Coppock, West Chester, Noble, Perlee, East Pleasant Plain,
Germanville, Merrimac, Mac Coon Access, Salina, Lake Darling State
Park, Talleyrand, Washington County Fairgrounds, and Trenton.

Instructions

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building.

This is a dangerous storm. Prepare immediately for large destructive
hail capable of producing significant damage. People outside should
move to shelter inside a strong building, and stay away from windows.
