* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Northeastern Jones County in central South Dakota…
Northwestern Lyman County in central South Dakota…
Southeastern Stanley County in central South Dakota…

* Until 400 PM CDT /300 PM MDT/.

* At 316 PM CDT /216 PM MDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located 12
miles north of Draper, or 17 miles northeast of Murdo, moving
northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
Northeastern Jones, Northwestern Lyman and Southeastern Stanley
Counties.

Instructions

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
widespread damaging winds and large hail.

Report severe weather to your nearest law enforcement agency or the
