Southwestern Meade County in west central South Dakota…
South Central Pennington County in west central South Dakota…

* Until 330 PM MDT.

* At 230 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Johnson
Siding, or 11 miles west of Rapid City, moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD…Golf ball size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect damage
to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.

* Locations impacted include…
Rapid City, Rapid Valley, Black Hawk, Summerset, Johnson Siding,
Hisega, Silver City, Rockerville, Bear Country, Reptile Gardens,
Sheridan Lake, Keystone Wye and Pactola Reservoir.

This includes Interstate 90 in South Dakota between Mile Markers 50
and 62.

Instructions

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
dangerous hail.
