The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
East Central McCurtain County in southeastern Oklahoma…
* Until 300 PM CDT.
* At 217 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles northeast
of Broken Bow, or 17 miles west of De Queen, moving southeast at 10
mph.
HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

Eagletown.
Instructions
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
If on or near a lake, get away from the water and move indoors or
inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 15 miles from
the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close
enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do not be
caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
