North Central McCurtain County in southeastern Oklahoma…
* Until 500 PM CDT.
* At 410 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 40 miles north of
Broken Bow, or 49 miles northwest of De Queen, moving southeast at
15 mph.
HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include…
Bethel, Sherwood, Battiest, Smithville, Pickens and Watson.

windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
