* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Northeastern McPherson County in north central South Dakota…

* Until 1045 PM CDT.

* At 939 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles north of
Long Lake, or 21 miles northwest of Leola, moving southeast at 35
mph.

HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Trained spotters reported.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.
