Wadena County in central Minnesota…
Eastern Otter Tail County in west central Minnesota…
* Until 1215 PM CDT.
* At 1121 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Menahga to near Verndale to near Eagle Bend,
moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.
* Locations impacted include…
Wadena, Menahga, Parkers Prairie, Sebeka, Verndale, Staples
Airport, and Bluffton.
Instructions
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
