The National Weather Service in Goodland has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
East central Yuma County in northeastern Colorado…
Northwestern Cheyenne County in northwestern Kansas…

* Until 715 PM MDT/815 PM CDT/.

* At 634 PM MDT/734 PM CDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located 10
miles south of Haigler, or 12 miles northwest of St. Francis,
moving south at 15 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
east central Yuma County in northeastern Colorado and northwestern
Cheyenne Counties in northwestern Kansas.

Instructions

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM MDT/midnight CDT/ for
northeastern Colorado.
