At 209 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Horseshoe Lake Conservation Area, or 9 miles northwest of Cairo,
moving southeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Scott City, Chaffee, Cairo, Oran, La Center, Benton, Wickliffe,
Mounds, Morley, Barlow, Mound City, Kelso, Dutchtown, Horseshoe
Lake Conservation Area, Olive Branch, Cape Girardeau Airport,
Lovelaceville and Thebes.
