Details
At 102 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Kickapoo Reservation to near Whiting to
Holton. Movement was southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include…
Effingham, Lancaster, Muscotah, Farmington, Huron, and Arrington.
Instructions
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 600 AM CDT for
northeastern Kansas.
