Details

At 711 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles south of Oliver Reservoir, or 14 miles southwest of Kimball,
moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Kimball, Dix, Kimball Municipal Airport, Oliver Reservoir, Oliver
Reservoir Campground, and Kimball County Fairgrounds.

This includes Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 10 and
33.

Instructions

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
the Panhandle of Nebraska.
