Details

At 526 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Lake Alice to near Harrisburg. Movement was
east at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Scottsbluff, Gering, Bayard, Terrytown, Minatare, Melbeta, McGrew,
Wildcat Hills State Recreation Area, Lake Minatare State Recreation
Area, Lake Alice Number 2, Scotts Bluff National Monument, Chimney
Rock National Historic Site, Harrisburg, Scottsbluff Airport, Lake
Alice, Wrights Gap, Moomaw Corner, and South Bayard Junction.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
the Panhandle of Nebraska.
