Details
At 1255 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms from near South Plains to 10 miles east of Turkey,
moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Childress, Memphis, Silverton, Turkey, Caprock Canyon State Park,
Quitaque, Cee Vee, Flomot, Tell, Northfield, Estelline, Lakeview,
and Plaska Community.
