Details

At 310 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms with windy outflow winds ahead of it extending from
near Vale to over Mallo Camp, or extending from 18 miles northeast of
Sturgis to 20 miles northeast of Newcastle, moving southeast at 30
mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts 40 to 50 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Rapid City, southeastern Spearfish, Sturgis, Lead, Hill City, Rapid
Valley, Ellsworth Air Force Base, northern Box Elder, Summerset,
Black Hawk, Deadwood, Whitewood, Johnson Siding, Newell, Nemo,
Nisland, Piedmont, Saint Onge, Vale and Central City.

This includes Interstate 90 in South Dakota between Mile Markers 13
and 63.
