Details

At 1049 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong
thunderstorms 10 miles south of Deberry, or 10 miles east of
Carthage, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Shreveport, Bossier City, Marshall, Carthage, Hallsville,
Greenwood, Blanchard, Waskom, Stonewall, Logansport, Tatum,
Beckville, Deberry, Elysian Fields, Pinehill, Easton, Scottsville,
Keachi, Longstreet and Midyett.

Instructions

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
