Details

At 1056 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from 6 miles east of Beckville to over
Tenaha, or extending from 8 miles north of Carthage to 12 miles north
of Center, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Shreveport, Bossier City, Carthage, Mansfield, Greenwood,
Blanchard, Waskom, Stonewall, Logansport, Tatum, Tenaha, Beckville,
Joaquin, Deberry, Elysian Fields, Keachi, Grand Cane, Longstreet
and Spring Ridge.

Instructions

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
