Details

At 1008 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from 15 miles southwest of Reese to over
Mixon, or extending from 20 miles west of Jacksonville to 8 miles
south of Whitehouse, moving southeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 30 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Jacksonville, Bullard, Troup, Mount Selman, Mixon, Reese, New
Summerfield, Gallatin, Cuney and Concord.

Instructions

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

If on or near Lake Jacksonville, get out of the water and move
indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 10
miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are
close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do
not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
