Details

At 1043 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13
miles southwest of Weskan, or 14 miles southeast of Cheyenne Wells,
moving south at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern
Cheyenne County in east central Colorado and northwestern Greeley
Counties in west central Kansas.
