Details

At 1008 PM MDT/1108 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong
thunderstorm 8 miles southwest of Benkelman, moving northwest at 15
mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of north central
Cheyenne County in northwestern Kansas and southwestern Dundy
Counties in southwestern Nebraska, including the following
locations… Parks.
