Details

At 544 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Acres to 6 miles
northeast of Buffalo. Movement was northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near…
Ashland around 600 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these storms include Sitka.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
south central and southwestern Kansas.
