Details

At 619 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Desoto, moving east at 5 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Dallas, Desoto, Cedar Hill, Duncanville, Lancaster, Waxahachie,
Midlothian, Glenn Heights, Red Oak, Hutchins, Wilmer, Ovilla, Ferris,
Oak Leaf, Cedar Hill State Park, and Pecan Hill.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 35E between mile markers 407 and 422.
Interstate 20 between mile markers 461 and 473.
Interstate 45 between mile markers 264 and 266, and between mile
markers 270 and 282.
